At the end of the world
From Slope Point to Cape Reinga

"I'm planning to ride my bike from the southern point of New Zealand to the nethermost, a distance of 2800 km. When people ask me why I'm doing my usual answer is why not? "

Francesco Pierini developer of the extreme adventure travel project Free Wheels Adventure, is planning to ride his bike for a green purpose. Every km rode by bicycle one tree will be planted all around the world trough the platform One Tree Planted.
"Taking care of our planet concerns us all. We depend on a fragile and increasingly damaged ecosystem due to climate change caused by human activity. Climate change is no longer just a threat to our children or grandchildren, but to our own generation".
Free Wheels Adventure proposes a simple, but revolutionary way to help our home.

“Plant a life today to live your tomorrow”

1 Km - 1 tree initiative

1 Km - 1 Tree is the initiative proposed by Free Wheels Adventure. At the end of this expedition, Free Wheels will plant one tree for each kilometer traveled by bike

Free Wheels Adventure brings 1 Km - 1 Tree directly to the people. Locals who meet riders during their journey will have the opportunity to get involved too. By “sponsoring a tree” they will ensure that an additional tree is planted, thereby contributing to the effort and spreading awareness surrounding the issues that face our forests, environment, and planet.
